2017 NYRA Cinco de Mayo Regatta

The Cinco de Mayo Regatta is a one design regatta offered for multiple one design classes the Neuse Yacht Racing Association is the organizing authority
Schedule of events:
9:30 am – Competitors meeting – BSC Clubhouse deck
11:30 am – First Starting Sequence – Neuse river
5:30 pm – Shore party – bsc clubhouse – catered by cilantro’s mexican restaurant
6:15 pm – Awards ceremony
The Regatta will be governed by the 2017-2020 Racing Rules of Sailing. All boats shall comply with N.C. Wildlife Commission and U.S. Coast Guard safety regulations. Expected One-Design classes (SJ21, Sunfish, FJs, Tanzers, 420s, Ensigns, etc.) will race either in Broad Creek just off Blackbeard Sailing Club, or on the Neuse River just outside the mouth of Broad Creek. Multiple races are planned.
